Payments & Virtual Items Policy

2) Pricing, fees, and taxes

• Prices are shown at checkout in the currency presented (typically NZD) before you confirm payment.
• Any applicable taxes (including GST where required) and payment method fees are disclosed at checkout.
• We may use third-party payment processors; your payment method details are handled by the processor under their terms.

3) What you receive

Purchases grant a limited, revocable licence to use virtual items (e.g., coins/credits) within the SweepsPlayWorld service, as described at the time of purchase.

• Virtual items have no monetary value outside the service.
• Virtual items are not redeemable or exchangeable for money, cash equivalents, or prizes.
• Virtual items are non-transferable and may not be sold, gifted, traded, or assigned to others.

4) Billing, errors, and chargebacks

• If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us promptly with the date, amount, and transaction reference so we can investigate.
• If a chargeback or payment reversal occurs, we may remove the related virtual items and/or suspend access while the dispute is reviewed.
• Attempts to obtain virtual items through fraud or unauthorised payments may result in account restrictions.

5) Refunds and New Zealand consumer rights

All sales are intended to be final once virtual items are delivered, except where a refund is required under New Zealand law (including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986) or where we determine, in our reasonable discretion, that a refund is appropriate (e.g., duplicate charge, non-delivery, or a confirmed billing error).

If you request a refund, we may require verification and may adjust/remove virtual items associated with the refunded transaction.
